Jordan Daniels is a Project Engineer for Daniels & House Construction Co., a general building contractor serving Monterey and Santa Cruz counties since 1958. For the last three years his focus has been on bringing D&H to the forefront of green building and increasing awareness in local communities, specifically through involvement with the US Green Building Council and the LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) rating system. Prior to returning to Monterey County in 2004, Daniels worked for PowerLight Corporation, the largest installer of solar electric systems in the US. He has a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Davis. His wife, Nina Buteau, recently graduated from MIIS with an MBA and now works as a Financial Analyst for HSBC.
